These Movable Shapes are great because you can use them all over the Uke neck and by learning these three grips you'll be learning many chords!

Start with the Major chord shape above and get to grips with playing it and make sure you understand that by positioning the root note (shown in red) you will be chaning the name of the chord.

It will be a big help if you learn the notes on String 1 of course!

Only when you feel confident with the Major Shape should you start on the Minor and 7 chord grips shown below!
