My 2017 Niel Young binge is starting :) seems like I have one every year - such and incredible and powerful artist, my all time favourite.
I just did an easy version too for beginners in standard tuning and easy chords: Cortez The Killer for beginners (just Em, D and Am!).
This one is in Double Drop D Tuning, which is what NY uses for the recording on Zuma, although that is electric guitar. Live on acoustic this is how he does it.
But as well as the how to play the song I thought I'd share a few chord options and turn it intoa kind od Double Drop D Chord lesson too.
There's a 4 minute jamat the end where I play about with the fancy chords and also using a looper! was at the start but figured it might be a bit long for an intro...
