Hit me With Your Best Shot is one of those tunes that's fun to play and great one if you're new to powerchords.

Most important is getting the rhythms right and keeping the Power Chords clean, meaning not letting open strings ring out when you don't want them to.

More advanced players should listen out for muting strings between chords, amount of Palm Muting and dynamics (how hard to play).

Getting the Sound

Guitar
This is my Suhr Classic Antique. I'm using Pickup Position 5 (bridge) which has a high gain humbucker pickup. Volume on 10.

Amp
Using The Kemper Profiler, I was using his awesome '69 Marshall pack, the "50 4" the straight preset!

Effects
A little reverb in the Kemper!
