Justinguitar's Top 10 Greatest Blues Guitar AlbumsJustinguitar.com Recommendations |
Of course this is just my opinion... my Top 10, not a definative list because I don't think that's possible... we all like different music! |
I have boxes and boxes of ring binders full of transcriptions and even found myself transcribing things a second time because I'd forgotten I'd done it already and with modern technology (and a fast scanner!) I figured it might be time to make space and get rid of some paper and make it easy to find my files. So the quest begins to find the best iPad app to use to store, view, browse and annotate my collection!
Some of these are available for iPhone (beware that forScore charges you again for that!) but realistically I don't think it's much use, reading music on a screen so small is futile at best and not really recommended.
On test: OnSong, Newzik, forScore, Gigbook, GuitarPro & more...
OnSong
This seems to be the most popular app in the market, and for good reason. It comes at a price though as it's by far the most expensive app on the list at £14.99 (USD $ ?)
It is well designed and well featured and I found the interface pretty simple to get to grips with.
